Restoring Hope: Puzuri Group of Companies Limited Completes Dam Dredging Project
In a significant step towards community empowerment and sustainable development, Puzuri Group of Companies Limited proudly announces the successful completion and handover of the long-awaited dam dredging project in Gukpegu Tua. This initiative marks a pivotal moment in the journey towards revitalizing critical infrastructure and ensuring access to clean water for the local population.
For over thirty years, the dam in Gukpegu Tua has stood as a vital water source for the community and its twenty surrounding villages. However, years of neglect and sediment accumulation had threatened its functionality and compromised water access for residents and their livestock. Recognizing the urgent need for intervention, Puzuri Group of Companies Limited embarked on a collaborative effort to restore the dam to its former glory.
From the outset, the dam dredging project was a testament to the power of collaboration between Puzuri Group of Companies Limited and the local community. Over the course of six(6) days, our dedicated team, alongside community volunteers, worked tirelessly to remove sediment and debris, effectively increasing the dam’s capacity and restoring its functionality.
